Boat in Fog — Minimalist Wabi Sabi Canvas
Boat in Fog — Minimalist Wabi Sabi Canvas

Fog closes everything down. One wooden boat floats near the bottom of the frame with its own faint reflection under it, and above that there is nothing to hold onto — no shoreline, no horizon, no colour beyond olive and cream. The picture works entirely by how much has been left out of it.
- The boat occupies well under one percent of the picture, and everything else is empty ground
- Fog removes the horizon completely, so sky and water meet without a line
- Built on the Japanese principle of ma, the deliberate empty space that gives a single mark its weight
At home in a living room, bedroom or entryway, it holds the wall on its own or anchors a gallery arrangement.
- Giclee print on canvas - a faithful reproduction of the artwork, not an original painting
- Heavyweight 410 g/m2 matte cotton canvas
- Made to order - printed fresh for you, zero waste
- Stretched and framed options arrive ready to hang

Printed on heavyweight 410 g/m2 matte cotton canvas with archival pigment inks, this piece is made to last — colour depth rated for up to 200 years, with a matte surface that stays readable in daylight and under lamps, without glare. Every canvas is produced to order, so nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing goes to waste.
Choose the format your wall needs. Rolled canvas ships flat for your own framer. Stretched canvas arrives hand-wrapped over a 1.5 inch lightweight wooden bar, ready to hang. Framed options add a floating wood frame from sustainably sourced timber in six finishes, from thin black to warm walnut — the canvas sits just proud of the frame, the way a painting does.
FAQ
How long will my order take to arrive?
Every piece is made to order. Production takes 3–14 days depending on size and finish — rolled and smaller stretched canvases are quickest, large formats and framed orders take longer. Delivery after that is handled by the carrier and depends on your destination. You will receive a tracking link as soon as your order ships.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union and Australia. Your order is produced at the facility closest to you, which keeps transit short. Shipping is calculated at checkout and delivery times depend on the carrier serving your address.
What happens if my print arrives damaged?
In the rare case of damage during shipping, simply contact us with photos of the item and packaging, and we will replace your order at no cost.
Can I request a custom size or color adjustment?
Yes, on request. Our canvases are listed in nine standard sizes, but our print partners can produce other dimensions, and we can look at colour adjustments to an artwork as well. Write to noirpixelprint@gmail.com with the size or change you have in mind before ordering and we will quote it individually. Custom pieces are made to your specification, so they fall outside the standard 14-day return window.
Can I return or exchange my order?
Yes. Although every canvas is made to order, you may return it within 14 days of delivery if it is not right for your space. Contact us first and we will confirm the return address for your region. Return shipping is paid by the customer; the full product price is refunded once the canvas arrives back with us. If a piece arrives damaged or with a production flaw, we replace it free of charge.
